International Linguistics Conference in Lublin

Building on the success of the first seven conferences, the Institute of Linguistics at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland, is organizing the 8th meeting of Linguistics Beyond And Within — International Linguistics Conference in Lublin. The conference, to be held online on 14–15 October 2021, will be hosted by the Department of Applied Linguistics, the Department of Theoretical Linguistics, the Department of Celtic Studies, and the Department of Contrastive English-Polish Studies. The language of the conference is English. This year the talks will be guided by the following leitmotif:
Hierarchies, Boundaries and Continua in Linguistics
As previously, we would like to invite scholars with innovative approaches to linguistics viewed from a range of intra- and interdisciplinary perspectives.
Important dates:
- Abstract submission: 15 July 2021
- Notification of acceptance: 15 August 2021
- Registration: 1 September 2021
- Conference: 14–15 October 2021
- Paper submission: 31 January 2022
The conference will take place under the honorary patronage of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Branch in Lublin, Krzysztof Żuk (Mayor of Lublin) and Jarosław Stawiarski (Marshal of Lubelskie Region).
